Overview
This training course brings all aspects of the Y2K problem and solution together.
While the focus is Year 2000 compliance of PowerBuilder applications, many of the
techniques covered will carry over into everyday programming. The intent is to transform
attendees so that when you leave you are not only qualified to take on a Year 2000
compliance project, but more aware of the date calculation issues which are unrelated to
Y2K.This training comes in two flavors:
Seminar-Style
The seminar session is held in a standard theatre-style room with an overhead
projector. There is a lot of interaction and discussion but no hands-on workshops. Sample
code and tools are provided to all attendees.
Course Length: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a
1 hour lunch break
Hands-On Workshop
The hands-on workshop takes place in a training room which has a
computer for each attendee. Sample code and tools are provided to all attendees.
Course Length: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a
1 hour lunch break
Location
Both the Hands-On Workshop and Seminar-Style sessions can be
provided at our corporate offices or at your site. To find out more about this course,
